Install the player, open it, then submit the MAC Address shown in the lower-left corner so your device can be linked.

A lighter alternate player. Setup is more manual and may require your username, password, and server information.

Open this page on the device using your browser or Downloader.
Download Slice-TV Player. If Android asks for permission to install unknown apps, allow installation for the browser or Downloader you are using.
Install and open Slice-TV Player.
Write down the MAC Address shown in the lower-left corner.
Use the Register Slice-TV Player form below. Include your username if you know it.
Leave the app installed. Slice-TV Support will link the device to your account.
Need remote support? Install AnyDesk plus the control plugins from the Remote Support section.
onn. AnyDesk permission: when Slice-TV Support connects, your device may ask you to approve screen sharing. Select Start now, Start sharing, or Start recording depending on the Android version. Support may not be able to view or control the screen until you approve this prompt.

  1. Download the player APK.
  2. Allow installation from the browser or Downloader when prompted.
  3. Install and open the app.
  4. For Slice-TV Player, submit the MAC Address using the form below.
  5. If support is needed, install AnyDesk and the control plugins.

Compatibility Varies

Amazon Fire TV / Firestick

Fire TV compatibility notice: Older Fire TV / Firestick devices may allow APK sideloading through the Downloader app. Some newer Fire TV models or Fire OS versions may restrict developer or sideloading options. If your device does not provide the required installation permissions, manual APK installation may not be available on that device.
Legacy / Compatible Firestick Setup
  1. Install and open the Downloader app from Amazon's app store.
  2. Enable the device's available developer / install-unknown-app permissions for Downloader.
  3. In Downloader, enter: slice-tv.net/install
  4. Return to this Fire TV section and download Slice-TV Player.
  5. Install and open the app.
  6. Submit the MAC Address from the player using the form below.

Remote Support

For Android / Google TV / AOSP devices, install the support components in the order shown below.

Install AnyDesk
INSTALL ANYDESK

The Open button attempts to launch the installed Android AnyDesk app. If your browser or device blocks app launching, open AnyDesk manually from your Apps screen.

AnyDesk + AD1 / AOSP Setup
  1. Install and open AnyDesk.
  2. Install the AD1 control plugin.
  3. Install the AOSP control plugin.
  4. If Android requests Accessibility or control permissions, enable the appropriate AnyDesk/control plugin permissions in Settings.
  5. Send your AnyDesk address or code to Slice-TV Support using the bottom-right website chat.
  6. When support begins connecting, approve any AnyDesk access request on-screen.
  7. On onn. / Google TV devices, also approve the screen-sharing prompt by selecting Start now, Start sharing, or Start recording when shown.
Some Android devices require a control plugin for full remote input, and the plugin may need to be enabled under Android Accessibility settings.
